How to be a
great OPC coach

OPC gives you the platform to succeed, but growing your business is up to you. Bookings come to the coaches who put themselves out there and advertise their own coaching. You drive the demand, and wherever we can help you do it, we will.

The plan you deliver: £99/month

Each player on the plan pays £99 a month (you keep 80% — £79.20 per player, every month) for ongoing online coaching from you. It's rolling and cancel-anytime, so your job is to make it so good they never want to. Here's exactly what every player gets each month:

  • One video review every week — they send a clip, you send back a personal breakdown
  • A private coaching thread — open all week for their questions
  • A monthly focus — one clear thing you set them to work on
The most important thing you do

Recording your weekly video review

Every week each player sends you one clip of their game, and you send back one video review. You've got two brilliant ways to record it — pick one, or do both for a review players will rave about.

The golden rule: always reply to a video with a video. A weekly review is never written-only — your players are paying to see and hear you coach, not to read a paragraph. Save text for quick questions in the thread between reviews.
Two ways to record
A

Talk over their footage (Loom-style)

Screen-record their clip with your voice over the top. Easiest tool is Loom (loom.com — free); it captures your screen, your voice and a little camera bubble of you, and gives you a link to drop straight in the thread (your phone or Mac screen recorder works too). Pause on key moments, scrub back, use slow-motion — "watch your feet here," "see how you're late on the bandeja." Pointing it out on their own footage is what makes it feel like real coaching.

B

Film yourself on court, racket in hand

Get out on court and demonstrate the fix yourself — show the grip, the swing, the footwork, the position, in real life. Players love this: it turns your feedback into something they can copy straight away. "Here's exactly what I mean — watch how I set my feet before the bandeja." Seeing a real coach model the shot is worth a thousand words.

A+B

Both = the gold standard

Diagnose it on their clip, then demonstrate the fix on yours. That one-two punch is the best coaching experience on the platform — and it's what turns a happy player into one who never cancels and tells their mates. If you want to stand out, this is how.

Make every review count
1

Watch their clip first, then focus

Watch it once all the way through before recording. Pick the 2–3 things that will genuinely move their game — don't try to fix everything. Focused beats overwhelming, every time.

2

Keep it tight — aim for 3–6 minutes

Lead with one thing they're doing well, give your 2–3 fixes, then finish with one clear thing to practise this week. Short and sharp gets watched and actioned.

3

Post it back personally, on time

Drop the video into that player's thread, use their name, and refer to their specific clip. Tell them when the next review lands — then beat that deadline.

4

Stay in the thread all week

Between reviews, answer their questions in the text thread. That ongoing contact is what makes £99/month feel worth it — and it's what keeps players subscribed month after month.

No fancy gear needed. Clear audio matters more than video quality — record somewhere quiet and speak up. Whether you talk over their clip, film yourself on court, or both, the only non-negotiable is that a video gets a video back.
Remember

The level of your service decides your success. On OPC you're not just giving feedback — you're building a reputation. The coaches who go the extra mile (clear video, real demonstrations, fast replies, genuine care) are the ones who earn five-star reviews, keep players subscribed, and fill their calendars. The ones who do the bare minimum quietly lose players to the ones who don't.

Every review is a chance to keep a player — or lose one. Because the plan is cancel-anytime, you re-earn each player every single month. Treat every weekly review like it's the one that decides whether they stay. Do that, and they won't just stay — they'll tell other players about you.
Bring the players in
01

Be your own best advertiser

You are the single biggest driver of your own bookings. Promote yourself and OPC across your social channels, tell your followers you coach on OPC, link your profile, and show what you offer. We'll amplify everything we can, but the players who book you most are the ones who already follow you. Drive the demand and we'll help you convert it.

02

Post regularly and consistently

One great post won't move the needle, a steady rhythm will. Share match clips, quick tips, and wins from your players on a consistent schedule. Showing up regularly keeps you visible and builds the trust that turns followers into paying players.

03

Tag us, and we'll boost you

Tag @onlinepadelcoaching in your posts and stories. When you do, we can reshare your content to the entire OPC audience, free reach for you, and a stronger community for everyone. The more you put out, the more we have to amplify.

Keep players coming back
04

Respond fast, keep notifications on

Speed wins bookings. A player who messages you is ready to commit — reply quickly and you'll convert far more than a coach who takes days. Keep your notifications on so a new enquiry never slips through, and make fast replies your standard.

05

Deliver like clockwork, every month

The plan is cancel-anytime, so you re-earn every player each month. Get their weekly review to them on schedule, week in, week out. That dependable rhythm is what builds trust — and trust is what keeps a subscription running instead of getting cancelled.

06

Earn reviews and referrals

Happy players are your best marketing. Once you're consistently delivering great reviews, encourage them to leave you a five-star rating and to tell their padel mates. Genuine word of mouth from a player who loves your coaching brings you the next one — for free.

We provide the platform.
You grow the business.

Coach like this and you won't just get bookings, you'll build a reputation that brings players back. Let's grow padel together.
