This policy explains how Online Padel Coaching ("OPC", "we") collects and uses your personal data. OPC is the data controller. Contact: hello@onlinepadelcoaching.com.
1. What we collect
- Account data: name, email, password (stored hashed), role (player/coach).
- Coaching content: the match videos you upload, your goals/kickoff answers, and messages in your coaching thread.
- Payment data: handled by Stripe — we do not store your full card details; we hold subscription status, and limited billing metadata.
- Usage data: basic technical/usage information to run and improve the service.
2. Why we use it (lawful bases)
- To provide the coaching service and your account — performance of a contract.
- To process payments and prevent fraud — contract / legitimate interests.
- To send service emails (welcome, notifications, billing, cancellation) — contract.
- To improve and secure the Platform — legitimate interests.
- Marketing emails (if any) — consent, which you can withdraw anytime.
3. Who we share it with (our processors)
We use trusted third parties to run OPC, each acting on our instructions:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Cloudflare Stream — secure video hosting/playback.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- Lovable Cloud / Supabase — database, authentication, and backend hosting.
- Vercel — website hosting.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Coaches and your data
When you subscribe to a coach, that coach can see your goals, your uploaded videos, and your thread messages, in order to coach you. Coaches are required to keep this confidential and use it only for coaching you.
5. International transfers
Some processors may store data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses) are in place.
6. Retention
We keep your data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise it.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and object to certain processing. To exercise these, email

8. Security
We use encryption, access controls, and reputable processors to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure.
